We expect this maintenance to have no effect on the safety of your data or browsing as we have built our systems to be new meta. We do daily backups, have data replication and failover processes in place to ensure a smooth operation of the service throughout any accidents that may occur under the normal operating conditions. However, in case of such planned network maintenance where entire parts of the compute cloud will get disconnected from each other, there will unfortunately be brief interruptions to our service.

We are in the process of moving to an entirely dedicated private cloud in the next few months. This will mean our own infrastructure team will be fully in control over the time-frames of such maintenances in the future, should they be necessary.
